A Holiday to Die For

Marshall and I were talking on Sunday night about having a holiday and not having to go to school on Monday. We talked about the holiday being for those soldiers who died for our country.

He woke up on Monday morning and announced he would be going to school today. When I asked why, he said, "I don't want to die for a holiday!"

He is so funny to me! His little mind works in the craziest ways!

Jesus at Church?

This past weekend we celebrated the kid's birthdays. We had a really great time at the party, but ran out of time to open the gifts, so we opened them at home. Marshall got a new wallet for his birthday! Jason gave Marshall some money on Saturday night to "give to Jesus" at church on Sunday!
Sunday morning arrived and Marshall was VERY excited about having a new wallet. We had to change clothes to find pockets that could accommodate the wallet! He remembered to take it to church, kept up with it and took it to Sunday School with him.
As I picked up the kids from Sunday School, I asked Marshall, "Did you give your money to Jesus today?"
He replied, "No, He didn't come today!"

Why?

Well, I've decided that I'm not very good at writing in my kids' baby books - especially when they do something funny or say something funny! I'm on the computer a WHOLE lot more, so maybe I can blog about it! Maybe this could catch on and we could all blog the fuuny things our kids say! I could print it out and throw it in the baby book for later! I hope you enjoy the new blog I've started.
